At 7 months old, I can't tell you that a male's bulge would be completely developed, as I don't know how big the gecko is.



On a mature male, the bulge will protrude as shown in the attached photo, however, at 7 months old, if the gecko isn't 18-20 grams, it may not be fully developed.



As for agression between males, that's not always the case...especially in virgin males. I've kept three virgin males in the same cage and never observed any agression.



Your best bet is to post a photo of your gecko that shows the vent area.
