It has just about nothing to do with age and everything to do with size and condition of the gecko. I wait until my females are about 35 grams, this is usually between 8-10 months for my animals.

>>how large should a female crested be before she should be bred ? I have a large adult male just waiting to get into a cage w my female , but Im not sure how big she should be before mating can happen , shes about 6 1/2- 7 inches long , and 20-25 grams , how much l arger should she be ?
