Too Much Soaking

Hello all of you out in forum land. I recently received a 2003 female 100% het for piebald. This animal is eating really well and seems to be doing great, except for one thing. She soaks in her water bowl all the time. What is mean is, she will sit in the water at least 8-12 hours per day and maybe more. Anyways, this seems like it would be a bad thing. I have 12 other ball pythons and none of them do that. Is soaking like that a bad thing? What is causing it? How can I fix it? etc., etc. etc.
