could be happening, I understand and know abit about reabsorbing the eggs, thats why I asked, BUT.. what I'm having trouble with that I was trying to tell John Eddington today, she started to show her orange color in neck and looked large at the same time Hopi my aquaflame female did, I marked it on the calender, May 13th Hopi layed her eggs June 3d Chia is still fairly large , still has her orange very bright, appetite , poor for the last 2 weeks, saw her eat a cricket few days ago, but no real interest at all. She comes out and acts like a healthy fine collared jumping the rocks and such. I will show you a pic I just took this afternoon. My question is this, IF she were reabsorbing the eggs, why is she still larger than normal? Would she not start to look smaller and more normal again?
Is it possible she mated later than I thought after I saw her orange appear? Hope you understand all that I'm asking, LOL I just can't understand why she looks like she has eggs, I don't know Brock look at her and let me know what you think, Thank you for getting back, appreciate your thoughts, because she worries me ! Eve
