"if you call and they say it's ok.....yet end up being held in a room at the teminal by people checkers with different ideas??????...
Not to worry, JY...I've never known an airline to say "it's ok" to carry a Herp on board. Warm fuzzies sometimes get to travel in a crate, under the seat...but not cold blooded critters...no, no, nooooooo... Well...actually...I have carried Herps in a crate before, come to think of it...and with the ok from a Delta VP...was a pair of baby Komodo Dragons traveling from one zoo to another. I was told NOT to take the critters out or even say what they were...so I just said "nice, puppy" and all was dandy. Back in the old days/pre 9/11 it was sometimes possible to carry on board discretely...but I wouldn't try that any more. Pay to ship properly and everyone will be the happier = my 2 cents...TW
