Actually the difficulty I was talking about was with the little ones the first couple months of their lives. When an animal is only 3-4" total length and only 1/4 to 3/8" across the head force feeding is just about impossible. I have tried it but find that they baby is so stressed by this that it usually dies anyway.



I doubt that a little olive oil would be harmful but think maybe some vit E or D might be better and am considering offering waxworms since they are high in fats.



As for Tripod, I am sorry to hear he is going to have to lose the leg. It is much better though than to lose him to infection!
