That's great! Kids should learn responsability, and what's better than something as a FBT! They are a lot less work than a RES turtle, and by having some FBTs he will learn how much fun herps can be. About you getting them from PetCo, I won't yell at ya; not everyone can get a FBT from a breeder, because there's not enough of them. As long as you picked out what looked like healthy ones, then you did alright. I'm glad you're teaching your son some responsability.
