I was wondering when the last eggs were from these two. I will say that the brown, sometimes green one is not as mean as the always green one. She is also much thinner than the green one. They both eat the same but she is just not as big around over all. The green one hisses and snaps all the time. He/she lost one horn when I was weighing them for meds and I just noticed this week that the other horn is turned sideways so I am expecting it to be gone soon. I keep spraying them but I have a hunch it is broken because that one is so active. The darker one is more calm and mostly stays in the same area. So, regardless of gender and breeding they have given me opportunity to observe behavior. They are really beautiful but what stinkers!
So, busy life. How is it going with school? I would think you'd be gearing up for fall semester and really be busy now. I know how it is to be too busy to give the animals the attention you feel they need. I finally sold all of my snakes because I couldn't keep up with them, the store, and all that went with caring for the snakes. They don't really take as much time as the MHDs but the rats and mice took more time than everything else put together. So, now it's just the dragons and I do have a house full! I will do a show this fall and then probably one next spring.
So, it's good to hear you're doing well. Glad you popped in! ----- Marcia - FroggieB Dragons
