I'm designing/building a larger enclosure for my boas, need help with materials please...

ok, like i said, i'm making a new enclosure for my Boas but i'm really unsure on what materials to use. I've got cart loads of MDF, will this be ok and if so will i need to treat it with anything. Can someone please advise me even down the how thick the glass should be. Thank you in advance, Ade.



ps. is there any sites worth visiting that may help me out.
