Soda boxes, macoroni and cheese boxes.........look through the pantry, there is a treasure of hides in there, just gotta get the food out of those hides. I never throw away a box that could be a hide, I usually break them down flat and store them. Then when I need another hide I can just grab one and use the stapler to make it hold its shape again. For smaller snakes just tear a large box into two or three, and use the stapler to adapt it into a nice tight disposable hide. The snake really doesn't care if it is perfectly square when your done, just that it's nice and tight.
