I have a female ambilobe that laid a clutch of egg's about45 days ago. It was her first clutch and they were infertle. So I was keeping a close eye on her not to miss her next go round. I waited two weeks and I check her, to find she was still holding egg's. So I had to wait once again. she finaly go's and dig's her hole and laiy's her egg's and she covers the hole there was just 6 egg's. I think well it's over, I will finaly get my chance to mate her, once again. I find she still has one egg in side her. she will not let the male near her she turns a real dark black and wont go near him. Has any body had this trouble before where the famale keep holding eggs. I cant figure this one out. Thanks for any help.......... ......................Scott...........
