That's true. Adult female bullfrogs can get well over 8 inches snout to butt. I have mine in a 75 gal. tank, he is a male, a bit smaller at 6 inches. These are frogs that need quite a lot of food compared to other species, and are also a bit jumpy and messy and need to have clean water, either gently filtrated or changed daily. A word of caution, they are quite damanding.
