Housing standing day geckos....

I may be receiving a pair of standing day geckos, and I was wondering if cypress mulch was appropriate for them as a substrate, and just some hides, and do they glue there eggs to something, like the side of the wall or do just like lay them in something moist like potting soil? Thank you.
