>>My little ornate uro is very hyper and always zoomin around. I always see fat, lazy nigerians at shows and they don't seem nearly as hyper. Is this just because there cold or is it a normal nigerian characteristic? Also would an ornate juvenile be a fair trade for a red nigerian?

No, and No.
My two Nigerians are insane - very wild and VERY fast. I'm sure there are many out there who are sweet as pie and lazy, but it's not a species characteristic. The ones at the shows may just be stressed.
As far as the trade? You could probably get at least two healthy CB Nigerians for the price of one healthy CB ornate. The guy getting the ornate would be getting a heck of a deal. ----- Torey
