because it seems you did not read my other post very carefully. Paula (Spardawolf) mentioned to leave the little one COMPLETELY alone for 4-5 days. I suggested the same thing in my earlier post. That means NO feeding attempts, NO handling, NO water changes, NO going into the enclosure for any reason. You have to remember that there are basically three reasons baby snakes (of any species) don't eat. They are 1) improper conditions (temps, humidity, security), 2) disease or illness and 3) stress. Since I am assuming your baby is cbb so we can most likely rule out number 2. That leaves numbers 1 and 3 and since there is sooooo much information out there on how to keep a corn snake, I will leave that as a slim possibility, but feel free to share your setup details. That leaves number 3 which in my nearly 30 years of keeping reptiles, is the number one reason why they don't eat. So with that being said, try leaving your little one alone AT LEAST 4 days and then use a LIVE pinky in the deli cup with your snake, but do it at around 9pm and leave it overnight. The live pinky along with some solitude and quiet may just jump start your baby. Again, your little one seems to have a good feeding response from your below post, but just needs to feel completely safe so she can finish her meal. I'll say it again, it sounds like during the earlier feeding attempts when she killed the live pinky and picked up the f/t pinky, but left both, she was disturbed or got frightened before she could start swallowing it. Again, best of luck and let us know - but we don't want to hear from you until next THURSDAY! LOL! Billy

>>i did everything you guys told me i should do and i put the snake in the deli cup over night with the frozen pinkie cut in half and when i got up this morning the 2 halfes of the mouse where both still in the cup and the baby was on the other side curled up away from the mouse!!! so now what should i do???
