Also keep in mind that different husbandry techniques will give very different results for growth rates, and opinions very as to what is "healthy". Some think growing too fast is unhealthy, some thing growing too slowly is unhealthy. Most people have moderate to slow growth rates, but some have exceptionally fast growth rates (see posts by Robyn and Proexotics), presumably from husbandry techniques.
I know that doesn't really answer your question, but it's something to keep in mind - different folks get different results. ----- Torey
