My uros are all adults or sub-adults, but they don't shed often. Maybe once or twice a year. Everything I've seen on the forum and uro lists indicate that that isn't unusual.
Do you know how old he is? My malis are supposedly about 2-1/2 years old and one is about 12" and the other about 9" (I'm guessing). The one is about 170g, the other 135g. They are starting to show more yellow and black rather than the greys and tans. I just adopted them a few months back, so I don't know their history, really. Both have shed once since I got them. Other folks on the forum seem to have similar sized malis for approximately the same age. ----- Torey
