the dimenisons are are 36L X 16W X 12H. I used a stain polyuthrothane mix on it and put 3 coats of it one. plus the floor has vinyl on the floor and the bottom edges have angle plactic nailed and caulked in. good luck with your cages i think mine will end up being the top part of a 2 high stack
