No, just wishful thinking. No a bad looking animal however. I think the term hypo in relation to hortulanus is indeed a fine line. Many amazons have reduced levels of melanin as part of the normal phenotype and are there for not hypo. Only those animals which are supposed to have melanin as part of the normal phenotype, but for some reason or another don't, should be termed as hypo. This animal appears to be brownish, which is part of the normal range of colors for the species.



>>Any ideas? I just got this at the Daytona show. I know Danny knows first hand what a hypo looks like so Danny if you are out there help a brother out! Anybody else think this could be anything or do I just have wishful thinking?
