Ken,
One of the selling points for me was when I was reading Kathy Love's Corn Snake Manual and saw one of her trays with aspen shavings. That was enough for me. And I have never had a problem with it either. I will continue to use aspen until something better comes along. ----- Corn snakes and rat snakes..No one can have just one.
