Someone on another forum has 3 in an enclosure and the male liked to sit in the plant and watch the females on the ground most of the time. You can keep 1 or 2 in a ten gallon aquarium or a screen enclosure as long as the humidity is kept relatively high. 20 bucks sounds about right for them too. They are small - maybe 3-4 inches when adults - so 4 crix a day sounds correct as well (small crix though). They eat snall crix, small worms, fruit flies, small house flies, etc. There is speculation on wether or not they need a UV light or even a basking light. Some people just use a regular light bulb just so theres a little heat and light so you can see them. I want to get acouple captive bread ones before winter. All I see for sale are wild caught ones though. | ||
