That sucks that your uro hides every time you enter the room. I'd say if he lets you pick him up, sit there and hold in a room and rock him *if you have a rocking chair, you can also stand if standing side to side* cause my brothers uro is like that. Apollo like being held, but runs when he's out. So I rock him side to side and he calms down and is good enough to come out then.
Try that, and talk in a nice calm voice, that always helps with an upset mali *in my opinion it works very well*.
I hope he gets better so he'll stay out while you are there with him.
