My Mali doesn't 'run over' and eat anything so I leave birdseed in the cage at all times. Sometimes he picks through it, while other times just walks on by (or through). I tried juvenile iguana pellets with zero luck. I think I have an ultra-picky eater on my hands. You could leave the birdseed out for a few days and see if they pick up on the greens.
