Posted by: Hawk at Sat Aug 21 13:10:26 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Hawk ] Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that "bloodred" used at least two different recessive genes, not a single one, and thus you would expect at most 25% of the offspring to be bloodred if the female was "het bloodred". More opinions would be useful. I've never kept bloods, so I'm not completely up to snuff on their genetics. [ Hide Replies ]
