Posted by: zooguy at Mon Aug 23 11:55:09 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by zooguy ] I recently came across a pamphlet about Utah's laws on reptiles and amphibians. It states that the Great Plains Rat snake is controlled for collection, importation, and possession, meaning that permits are needed to collect, import or possess one. I'm pretty sure that my little corn snake is a creamsicle, implying that he has Great Plains Rat snake blood. Since I don't have any permits for him, am I in violation of the law? I know I can't expect anyone to be able to interpret the law any better than it is written, but any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. [ Hide Replies ]
