For the most part cops (being me) are dumb and take the simplest form of the law. If it looks like it has Emory Rat Blood then it does and falls under the law. The local Police can not be expected to decern between Hybrids, crosses or genetic morphs, I doubt the law is specific to the point as to refer to them as "Natrually occuring" because it would leave too much to interpatation.
Now as for Paul, I will let you off the hook for the under sized torties if tou promise not naked dancing with Rattle snakes. that always leads to bites in bad places, take from a guy with experience in this department LOL
