When my snake are going to shed I usually mist down the tank and sides and also the snake its self. I also have the screen tops half covered with saran wrap to help with the humidity. Also have 2 water bowls in with each snake. I have 2 corns, a milk and a python.
I have tried to place a humid hide box in with them with moist paper towels but they didn't use them. You could try to soak him/her to get the rest of the shed off. If it stays on to much longer it may not come off till next shedding. They also need something with rough edges so they can rub on to get the shed off too.
