I must apologize for not checking in sooner, we are all doing well now that we have power again!
I have been working like a mad man since the storm ended and have to come by to say hello. Things here were a bit windy and we had no power for three days or so, but all in all we did much better then the poor folks just 30 miles to the north of me.
Oddly enough I made it to Daytona for a couple of hours, it was about the dumbest thing I ever did LOL, My travel route was the same as the storm so as we were driving to Daytona Beach, my wife kept an eye out for flying trees and building parts, did I mention that it was the dumbest thing I ever did? We arrived in Daytona at about 1am on Saturday and left about 11am, spent one night in a Dirty and flooded Adams Mark room, walked the Expo floor, but worry got the best of us and we headed back home to check on everything and start the clean up. We did not leave Ft. Myers until after the Storm had past (again the dumbest thing I ever did) and my sister stayed at my House (she lives in Cape Coral and was evacuated)
But thanks all for asking, we are in good shape compared to most and this week end we are going to Charlotte County to Help in the Clean Up effort.
