I'm not sure about snakes, but the vet I worked for back in the '80's would use sugar to reduce the swelling in dogs that had prolapsed. It worked about 50% of the time. He also had to suture the prolaps once the swelling went down. Again, I'm not sure about reptiles and maybe there are more modern treatments for reducing swelling. Sorry I can't make any other suggestions but maybe if you mention swelling reduction to your vet, he/she may think of something that will work. | ||
