OR, a well known rarely expressed trait is sexdactylism, or having six digits per appendage. THis trait is actually DOMINANT over the pentdactylic appendage arrangment we are used to. That's right, we should have 6 fingers and toes per hand or foot (respectively) since the trait is a simple recessive one where the gene for 6 digits is dominant it is SOOOOOOOO RARE it is SELDOM expressed?!? What if this were true w/ the JUngle trait? It is seldom seen but when it is it is dominant/co-dominant? Years of careful Mendelian like observation and record keeping will stay the course and lead us to the answer. I like your ideas. [ Hide Replies ]
