He has only pooped in his tank twice since I got him (about 8 months ago). I'm beginning to actually like it - I get a couple of paper towels before I take him out. I keep an eye on him when I first take him out, if he stops moving I look for the tell-tale muscle contractions near his vent and hold him over the paper towels. I've gotten pretty good at recognizing when he is going to do it and it makes cleaning the tank a snap. I've never left him in the tank for a long period of time (more than a few days) without handlin - I presume if I left him long enough he would go in the tank, but for now it's just kind of amusing. | ||
