Just also make sure you dont feed them in the cage, they can accidentally ingest the wood and that could kill 'em. You may want to try astroturf...thats what I have in all my cages. Got it from Home depot, 6 feet wide and its only like $2.15 per linear foot. (which would be 1x6 feet for $2.15)
