RE: pine bedding

I have used pine and aspen for years, they are not harmful. My eastern king has been on pine bedding for over 20yrs and is fat and healthy, never been sick. With hatchlings I lay a paper towel over the bedding because everything sticks to the pinkies. After they get to where they are eating bigger mice I feed right on the bedding. They are big enough at that point if they do swallow some shavings it will just pass through, never had a problem.
