Posted by: el_toro at Mon Aug 30 11:18:55 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by el_toro ] A suggestion from a woman on an email list I'm on who has many years experience with uro was to grind up cuttlebone (found in the bird section of petstores) and leave a dish of it in the uro enclosure. She says they eat it when they need calcium and don't eat it when they don't - they get exactly as much as they need and no more. I've not tried it, but it might be worth trying if you can't get her enough calcium any other way. | ||
