You didn't say what sub-species of ringneck snake you had, different sub-species favor different prey items, some relish worms, while others won't take two looks at one. I recently got my neonate northerns feeding on salamander tails, it took them about a month of adjusting as well.
Your best bet is salamanders/salamander tails, or keep trying with the worms. They'll also eat slugs, ant eggs, snakes, lizards, salamander eggs, small feeder fish and hairless caterpillars.
