I am in the process of finding him larger quarters. However, depending on the age and size of your mali (and a lot of other growth factors), it might be a good starting point if you have one available for use. My uro is 6 years old, and around 13 inches long. So if you are getting a baby mali a 40 gallon breeder may be a good jumping off point. As anyone on here will tell you though, bigger is better.
