Actually I think in most(not all)cases new concerned owners worry a little too much about them eating. I have found that reptiles are not at all fond of change. My iguana of 6 years always goes on a two day hunger strike everytime I move him to his summer outside quarters or back in too his winter cage.

My cresteds have always taken a couple days before they ate as I bought each one.And babys eat so little babyfood or cgd that unless you actually see them eating it looks untouched.

I would remove most of the roaches ,My babies have never taken to chomping crickets quickly. Once they begin the prefer them too anything else.But it usually takes a week or so of watching them.
