Are you sure she found the hole? I once tore apart the basement of the house I lived in because I was sure that my leopard gecko had climbed through a hole in the floor. I finally gave up and decided that she had climbed into an empty oil tank that sat right under the hole. I found her inside a piece of furniture later that day. Don't give up hope.
