When should i feed?

Whats a decent waiting period to feed my baby burm. I moved him into his new cage but the thing is he hasnt eaten in about 3 weeks. He's been in his new cage about two days without disturbance. Should i drop a hopper in to see if hes hungry or wait a bit longer.
