If he has regurged more than once, here is what i suggest:

1) although he is small, wait at least 1 week before feeding him agian. One of the problems is that he most likely doesnt have much gut flora built back up in his system to digest the food properly. That is probably why it didnt smell 'as bad' as the last time he did so.

2) DONT HANDEL HIM AT ALL!! Raven regurged after i fed her the first time because a) she ate too much and b) i was so excited about getting her that i took her out the next morning for a photo shoot.

3) Use a new sorce of food. another reason may be that the food source that you have may have gone bad or otherwise.

4) check the temp of the food item. IF the food item is frozen in the least ...even a tiny bit..it will cause major probems.

5) be patient...i know that waiting for long periods of time to feed your baby is stressful on you , but it is much better for him in the long run. i havent had another problem with raven since

oh! also, make sure that your baby has very little stress. Make sure that he has dark enough hides, and that the lights arent on all the time, as that could make him stress and in turn regurge.

and...one more, i promise... keep him hydrated during his fast. I suggest alittle pedialyte (unflavored) in his water to keep his strength up too.

I hope this helps. He should be fine. If all else fails, though, dont hesitate to take him to a vet. There arent many things more sad than to watch a beloved snake fade away...

good luck
