Posted by: JEFFREH at Thu Sep 2 17:17:46 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by JEFFREH ] my 18 month old just shed his skin. you can just about set your calender on him. Every 3-4 weeks on a Wednseday he sheds his skin and it always follows the day after my leopard gecko. Who sheds every 3-4 weeks on Tuesday. They shed quite quickly and it may be hard to tell unless u see a bit in the cage. so unless u can tell or are watching them, then u wuld never no they shed. as for the toes, just make sure the humidity is high and mist him/her often, especially in the process of shedding. the next day, just check the toes for anyloose bits and spray it a bit more han usual that day. if its still not off the next day, take tweezer and carefully pell it off or take a damp cotton swab and slowly roll it off. as long as u keep the humidity above 60% it shuld be fine. mine has never had any problems and i can always tell wen hes shed because he always leaves a little bit that was around his head. anywho, i hope this helps out a little bit | ||
