Posted by: cm23 at Fri Sep 3 12:48:15 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cm23 ] What I have done to my wood cages is that I put the flexwatt on the floor with shower stall plastic over the top of it. Make sure you paint the cage and let it dry. You can get the shower stall plastic at any home improvement store and it comes in 4x8 sheets and is only 11.00 per sheet. It is the thin stuff with no wood attached and make sure it is not the smelly stuff. (you will find out what that means when you go there) Put the flexwatt down and drill a hole in the side/floor corner and run the cord out. Cut the plastic about 1/8-1/4 smaller then the cage(it expands a little when heated) Run it for a little bit then take some clauk and seal around the edges. Works good for me and the plastic is easy to clean. You could even use the rest of the plastic to coat the whole inside of the cage. | ||
