50% ph to normal: Based on the laws of probability, the possible outcomes are:
1. The parent was a het and so babies are 50%, or
2. The parent was not a het and babies are normal.
When compounding probability (chance that parent AND baby are hets), you just multiply, so 25% is accurate, as in, if you breed lots of 50% poss hets to normals, out of hundreds of babies, 25% of them should come out hets. ----- 1.1 BPs, (Syd and Nancy)
