A very interesting question. Yes, that certainly may have been a consideration. However, the redback venom is composed primarly of large, unstable molecules, with more resilient, small peptides forming a lesser percentage. So, it would break down rather quickly unless they had converted their fridge into a freeze dryer, next to the sink being made into a hydroponic system for their pot plants ;-p ----- Dr. Bryan Grieg Fry
