I have seen breeders use metal wire mesh net to cover up the corners.



I don't know how to describe it. But there is like wire netting that you can buy. If you reinforce the corners with that netting stuff, it will repair corners that have been chewed through.



You see the wire netting in the image? Well, if you cut a piece of it and bend it to shape to cover up the corners that have been chewed, you can repair the bin that way.



(I borrowed the image to get the picture of the wire netting I am talking about.) You can actually get much thicker netting than that.
