This has been a very informative post. I do have one question. Maybe the answer lies above, but I did not see it or something. I am fortunate enough to know the person who supplies my local pet store with feeder mice, but I dont see him enough to buy direct. Is it cheaper in the long run to just breed a pair of mice or buy them when needed. I'm feeding a hatchling ball python who is eating a mouse a week.
