Thats sucks Cody. I too would say she got into something or breathed something while out on her own. The speed that, whatever it was, finally claimed its life would suggest that too. I know you told me that you live in the middle floor of a building and on top of a bowling alley. I bet they use poison (like Dcon) to control rodents. It's higly likely that she could have eaten a small mouse that had gotten into some poison. Too many other potential hazards to mention also. You could investigate that theory by disecting the dead snake and seeing if any "unauthorized" food items are in her gut. Short of having an expensive necropsy performed and tissue samples tested you will probably never know what caused the demise of her.
