` I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I know how bad it feels. You do your best, but still something out of your control can happen.

` The last one I lost was a baby Green, about 5 years ago. That snake would hand feed, and follow me around to get on me. He just died, after a small meal. Never figured it out. I'm still sad, and guilty, over that.

` Now, I'm in the process of losing my old Tomcat to old age, he's almost 18. Sometimes, I think I ought to put him down. He still enjoys his meals, and digests them OK. And, he still curls up with his favorite Anaconda. He just can't get around too well anymore, and like an old man, he has trouble peeing. He dies a little, every day. It's heartbreaking.
