This is a sad thread. Wasn't this animal also an import? You never know what could have already been in for the animal from the day you got it. It might not even be that it got out and got into something. This was way way out of your control though I am sure. Still cant get a joke to you...you got me set back a bit. I never knew a snake death could seem so sad and I just cannot think of how bad you must feel. I have had many pets over the years and the most recent death was a scorpion that was a trouble feeder i kept working with...it would eat when it could catch stuff but its claws were just weak.
