Posted by: warriorprncss3 at Thu Sep 16 10:58:07 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by warriorprncss3 ] depending on the size of your snake i'd try a pinky when your king feels picky. some of my snakes will eat a fuzzy or a hopper every week for a month but then will regurgitate any more until i switch to pinks. also don't handle your snake for a few days before trying. if that doesn't work dip a pinky in the juice drained from a can of tuna and then try. if that still doesn't work you may have to brain a pinky before offering it or try live. also pay attention to your snake (does it flick its tongue and move easily? etc.) keep an eye on it and if it becomes emaciated look to make sure there's no broken ribs or other signs of injury or illness. (lumpy looking body, blisters, etc) if none of this works it may hibernate for awhile but if it loses some weight call a reptile dealer. if they are a good one they'll take your snake for a week and try to get it to eat. i've had to do this with two of mine and both came back with the biggest appetites they've ever had. good luck | ||
